Ruger 77/.17

The .17 HMAX is a sealed, slightly modified Comanche tuned specifically for the Hornady .17 HMR cartridge. It yields absolute db ratings of 125 db 1 meter to the left of the muzzle, and 122 db at the shooters ear; which is quieter than a pellet gun. It will also work on any .22 rimfire or .22 Magnum.
1' OD by 6.1" long, it is all stainless steel and weighs just 8 ounces. Finish options are either  flat black Dura Coat finish or bright brushed stainless.

Cheyenne, Apache, Comanche and .17 HMax

We offer five variations of thread-on muzzle suppressors for the .22 Rimfire (and one for the .17 HMR). All are threaded 1/2"-28 as standard (other threads may be possible).

The CHEYENNE is an all aluminum (except rear end cap where threads are, that is stainless steel) 1" O.D. by 4.8" long, 3.5 ounce unit that provides approximately 35-41 dB reduction with Remington Subsonic ammunition depending on host gun barrel length (116-117 average dB absolute readings were recorded on a 5" barrel pistol). Color is black GunKote.

The CHEYENNE XL Is similar as the Cheyenne, except it incorporates one more baffle, and is 5.4" long, to make it the quietest production suppressor currently available in its size class (under 6" long).

The CHEYENNE XXL has one more baffle than the Cheyenne XL and is 6.2" long, it is almost 2 db quieter than the Cheyenne XL, you will not find a quieter .22 suppresor than this one if you don't mind the extra length.

The APACHE has an all stainless steel tube, and endcaps, with aluminum internals. 1" OD by 5.0" long, this can provides 36-42dB db suppression using Remington Subsonic ammo. Color is bright polished stainless finish.

The above three units are sealed.

The COMANCHE is an ALL stainless steel unit designed specifically for .22RF submachine gun use (and the 17 HMR), particularly the American 180, Vector UZI .22 , and M-16 .22LR Conversion. 1" OD, by 6.5" long, it may be completely user disassembled for cleaning and maintenance; an important consideration considering how quickly a sealed unit will become clogged with vaporized lead deposited from full auto fire.
For comparison, we recently tested the above five suppressors one morning, using a 5" barrel Ruger MkII as the host gun, with Remington Subsonic ammo. Results follow, dB listed are averages of 10 rounds:

  • Cheyenne XXL: 114.9 dB (quietest screw on suppressor that we know of, by anyone)
  • Cheyenne XL: 116.6 dB
  • Apache: 117.6 dB
  • Cheyenne: 118.1 dB
  • Comanche: 121.6 dB
  • Odessa: 124.2 dB

Price includes disassembly wrench (Comanche only). A seperate alignment stand that holds the COMANCHE upright, and guarantees baffle alignment during reassembly is available for an addition $20.

dB reductions range on the Comanche suppressor range from 34-39 db, depending on ammo used and host gun. Color is bright stainless; a black Molycote finish is available for an extra $20.

SRT Integral M-16/9MM Uppers

These 9MM uppers utilizes the same technology as used in our ultra-quiet 77/44, making the quietest upper currently available at around 120 dB Available in 13" and 16" bolt face to muzzle lengths.

Full auto capable, these uppers are ported to maximize bullet velocity to deliver maximum energy to the target for greatest stopping power. 115 gr will run supersonic, 147 grain is subsonic. We can integrate your upper or supply a Rock River upper. We suggest you supply the freefloat handguard of your choice, handguard should be a minimum of 1.6" inside diameter
